Video Visitation (InmateSales & InmateSales View App)                                    

1. Download the InmateSales and InmateSales View app.                                                                                 

2. Create and/or login to your account using the InmateSales app.                                   

3. To purchase Video Visitation minutes, click “New Purchase” and choose “Video Visitation”. 

4. To be approved to visit with an inmate, click “Connect with Inmate” and then “Schedule Video Visitation”. Next select “Request Access” at the top of the screen. Finally, start typing and select the facility “Pennington County SD” and the Last Name of the inmate. Repeat “Request Access” for each inmate you wish to be approved to visit.

Once you have funded your visitation account and have been approved to visit each inmate, you can connect with your loved one. Coordinate a time with the inmate by phone, email, or chirp for steps 6-7.

6. In the InmateSales app, click “Connect with Inmate” and select “Remote Video Visitation”. This will redirect you to the InmateSales View app to join the visit.

7. Once you and the inmate are logged in at the same time, the contact’s name will turn green and say “Online”. The inmate will select your name to initiate the call. You will answer the call to connect. You can initiate the call but if you call each other at the same time, the call will fail. Try again.

Video Visitation (website access @ www.inmatesales.com)

1. Using Google Chrome, visit www.inmatesales.com.

2. Create and/or login to your Inmate Sales account.

3. To purchase Video Visitation minutes, click “New Purchase”. For the facility, start typing and select “Pennington County SD”. Then choose “View-Remote Video Visit”.  Follow the steps to add funds to your account.

4. To be approved to visit with an inmate, click “Start Visitation” and then “Request Access” at the top of the screen. Finally, start typing and select the facility “Pennington County SD” and the Last Name of the inmate. Repeat “Request Access” for each inmate you wish to be approved to visit.

5. Click “Home” to see your contacts.

6. In the Home screen, click “Start Visitation” next to the inmates’ name. (Wait for the inmate to login and join the video.

7. Once you and the inmate are logged in at the same time, each of your names will turn blue. The inmate will select your name to initiate the call. You will answer the call to connect. You can initiate the call but if you call each other at the same time, the call will fail. Try again.
