What is the Operating Permit Fee? How long is the permit valid?

The operating permit fee is $20. The operating permit is valid for a period of 6 years from the septic tank pumping date or the repair date (if repairs were needed).

Who performs the Observation required for the Operating Permit?

The Observation Form is completed and submitted by the certified Liquid Waste Pumper the property owner chooses. However, a property owner can request that Pennington County Personnel be present during the observation at no additional cost.
