DUI Program

This is a 12-hour, evidenced-based, interactive educational program that assists offenders in exploring how they might want to adjust high-risk behaviors that brought them to this class. The curriculum provides information regarding the risks and consequences of substance use and abuse and how their own use of alcohol or other drugs may be causing problems in their life today and how it may affect them in the future.

This course is based on the belief that people have the power to change their behavior if they have the motivation and tools to do so. Participants will use a workbook, known as Interactive Journaling, throughout the program and will help guide the choices they make in the future. It is primarily designed for first offenders but can be effective for repeat offenders as well.
