This was requested by a couple departments who did not have personnel in them to provide this. Their members have gone through the online stuff for S-130 and S-190 and need the field day practical. This day is open to others who may fit that category as well - members who have the online training but not the field day. We may be able to accept you too, Chief Klunder is monitoring the numbers to assure we have the evaluators needed for this day.
All that being said, this is the important part of this message.
Contact Chief Tjaden for the S-130 and S-190 "Task Books". Each person participating in the Field day must have one of each with them. This is what you will present as confirmation that you have completed an S-130 Field Day.
The S-190 task book is question/definition based and should be filled out with the correct answers prior to arriving at the site.
The S-130 task book has one page which is question/definition based and one page which is actions based. The list with the C by each entry is the "classroom" portion of the task book and should be filled with the correct answers prior to arriving on site. The list with the F by each entry is the "field day" portion and will be signed off by the evaluator cadre at the site.
Any questions, contact Chief Klunder or Chief Tjaden.
Thank you
