S130 / S190 - Basic Wildland Firefighter (Dec. 7, 8, 21)

An S 130 / S 190 Basic Wildland Firefighter class will be held Dec 7 and 8 and finishing on the 21st of Dec. 

- The course will be hosted by Rapid Valley FD and Box Elder FD. 

- Class times will start at 0800 and finish about 1700. 

- Practicals will be integrated into the classroom sessions. 

- Books and materials will be provided.

- Wildland PPE is required for the 21st and recommended for the 6th and 7th

Rapid Valley Chief Joe Tjaden will be the primary instructor with several assistants teaching chapters.

 

Students will need to complete NWCGL-180 on their own prior to receiving credit for the course.

Additionally, they will need to complete IS-100 and IS-700.  Preference is that these will be completed prior to the start of the course.
