The S-215, Fire Operations in the Wildland/Urban Interface, course requires 16–24 hours for presentation, we will push to have this course complete in 2 days (16hrs). Designed to assist any emergency responders who will be planning for and making operational decisions during an interface incident. This course is for personnel desiring to be qualified as Incident Commander Type 4 (ICT4), Task Force Leader (TFLD), or any Strike Team Leader. I would strongly suggest if you have FFT1's or ENGB / CRWB's they Take this course.
- Must have FFT1 Qual or a Task Book Opened for FFT1, if it comes to a full course roster we will take the fully qualified FFT1s before the Trainees.
- Timeline: Saturday December 14th Start Time 0800 & Sunday December 15th
- The SD State Wildland will provide the Student work books and materials at NO COST to the Student
- Meals- The Interior Fire Department will provide Coffee, Lunches, & Snacks throughout the Course.
